These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the purchase of products from our online breastfeeding and postpartum shop ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing this website or purchasing any products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

We sell breastfeeding, postpartum, and baby-related products, including but not limited to silver nipple cups, breast milk storage products, silicone collectors, lanolin, whipped tallow balm, postpartum care items, and related accessories.

Our products are not medical devices, unless explicitly stated otherwise, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

All information provided on this website, including product descriptions, blog content, guides, social media content, or customer support communication, is for educational and informational purposes only.

3. BREASTFEEDING & BABY PRODUCTS DISCLAIMER

Breastfeeding outcomes vary between individuals. We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Milk supply

  • Latch success

  • Pain relief

  • Healing outcomes

  • Breastfeeding success

Results depend on multiple factors outside our control.

4. PRODUCT-SPECIFIC DISCLAIMERS

4.1 Silver Nipple Cups

  • Intended for general nipple care and comfort.

  • Not a substitute for medical treatment.

  • Discontinue use if irritation, pain, or allergic reaction occurs.

4.2 Silicone Products (Collectors, Storage Bags, Breast Pads)

  • Inspect before each use.

  • Discontinue use if damaged or compromised.

  • Sterilisation and hygiene are the customer’s responsibility.

4.3 Lanolin & Whipped Tallow Balm

  • For external use only.

  • Perform a patch test before first use.

  • Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.

4.4 Essential Oils (Tea Tree Oil)

  • Must be used strictly as directed.

  • Essential oils may cause irritation or allergic reactions.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Do not ingest unless explicitly labelled safe for ingestion.

4.5 Postpartum & Hygiene Products

  • Single-use or reusable items must be used according to instructions.

  • Hygiene and sanitation are the customer’s responsibility.

5. ALLERGIES & SENSITIVITIES

Customers are responsible for checking ingredient lists and materials before use.

We accept no liability for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or adverse reactions.

6. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge that:

  • You assume full responsibility for use

  • You release us from liability for misuse, adverse reactions, or unintended outcomes

7. NO WARRANTIES

All products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Non-infringement

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damages arising from the use or misuse of our products.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for gross negligence, fraud, or any matter that may not lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act.

Our total liability, where permitted by law, shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Misuse of products

  • Failure to follow instructions

  • Failure to seek medical advice

10. RETURNS & REFUNDS

We comply fully with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA).

Cooling-Off Period (Section 16):

Customers purchasing goods online have the right to cancel a transaction within five (5) business days of delivery, provided the product is unused, unopened, and in its original, resalable condition.

Hygiene & Safety Exclusions:

Due to the intimate and hygienic nature of breastfeeding and postpartum products, certain items may not be returned once opened or used, except where the product is defective, unsafe, or not as described, as permitted under the CPA.

Defective or Unsafe Products:

If a product is defective, unsafe, or fails to meet the standards contemplated in the CPA, the customer retains all rights to a repair, replacement or refund, subject to inspection.

11. SHIPPING & RISK

  • Shipping timelines are estimates only

  • Risk passes to the customer upon delivery

  • We are not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by couriers

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content, branding, images, text, and designs remain our intellectual property and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

13. PRIVACY

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and South African POPIA legislation.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

15. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
